On The Loose

So today I decided to venture out to a support group... the breastfeeding support group... how funny right?!!!! I thought it would be good to see if I'm doing all this right, but who expected a room full of 15 or so women sitting in a circle with their boobs out on the loose just feeding their babies... so Luke and I just joined the fun:) Oh the things in life that you would never guess in a million years you would do. It was nice to meet other moms and really not weird. When Luke and I arrived after being on the wrong floor in the building.. being told to go to the neighboring building... and then back to the first buidling to one floor higher, we joined the group. First we weighed our babies and then fed them and then weighed them again to see how much they were eating. Turns out my sweet little man is 9 lbs.... I almost cried... he's just growing like a weed. He was, of course, the best baby in the room... he was totally chilled out, ate and then fell back to sleep. It was such a great feeling to talk with other moms and just have my baby chilled out in my arms. He's so great.
Well that is my excitement for today. Have I mentioned before that I love being a mom???!!!.....well I do!
