Iowa

Luke has earned his wings!!! Our trip to Iowa was really great. Luke slept on the plane both ways. We got to see so many loved ones and Luke got to meet his Great grandmas, aunts and uncles. Plus we got to show him off in our tiny town. That is another great quality of a tiny town... people were excited to see Luke and already knew his name... no one here really gives a hoot when I head out with him.
Luke is also trying to say "mommy" ok... well maybe not yet... but it is the most amazing thing to see his tiny blue eyes looking up at me and he smiles and coos. It brings me to tears every time. We are so in love with him. Yesterday when Daddy picked us up at the airport it was like Luke was extra happy to hear Daddy's voice. He let out the biggest coos and biggest smiles, it was super precious. Our little guy is filling out and growing so big.
Sorry this is short but I must try to get through the shower! We are going to a Cinco de Mayo celebration.
