Fashion Week

I was just watching the TODAY show, and they were showing a special on fashion week. Honestly do people wear those clothes? The designer for one line they were showing is making how many millions, for designing clothes that look like outfits that belong to my mom's barbie dolls. Where do they come up with this stuff? And that is called fashion? I guess I'm just in the dark on what to wear, because I'm feeling pretty fashionable in my $10 target shirt and gap capris. One funny story, that goes with fashion. Last night Coy and I were in the Denver airport, and yes Luke was with us:) I had gone in the restroom and a woman came in wearing a some kind of knitted cap that was like a cone, and then had this goofy ball on top. It was hilarious? I should have taken a picture, and I kind of made a face at Coy, like did you see that. Well wouldn't you know, when we get on the plane to Iowa, I headed back to the bathroom and on my way back I spot the hat, sitting on the fold out table on the seat back. AHHHH I can't escape this crazy thing!!
Do you ever just sit and put things in perspective, like, for example, jobs. Why in the world are we paying athletes millions to catch a ball and run around in big padded outfits and tackle each other and then we pay teachers 50,000 or less, or maybe a more if they've worked 10 years or more. Teachers work with some of the most precious people on earth, children, the future, but yet, it doesn't seem to be a priority to pay them super well. I mean, there are a million jobs more important than an athlete, but I don't see many other careers making as much money. It is frustrating for me to think about. Have I mentioned this before? It was my time to vent, and I live with a husband who probably wouldn't survive without his sports to watch.
And now on the Today show, baby formula made in China could cause your infant kidney stones... is anything from China safe these days????
