Emry is here!!!

Our sweet Christmas bundle has arrived. Emry Dee was born Monday December 14th. The delivery went quickly and VERY smoothly. I feel so good, I can't believe that I just had a baby. She weighed in at 7 lbs 11oz and is 20inches long. She is a very content little lady, although may have her days and nights a little mixed up at this point. It is so fun to be enjoying a newborn again and fun to have Luke to be his happy active self as well. I was so worried about him not liking Em or being jealous. He has been SUPER. He already is playing the role of a helper and protector of his little sis. He wants to hold her and if she cries he seems upset. I feel blessed he is doing well so far. My mom is here for a couple of weeks and then Coy's mom will come and stay for New Year's eve and for a week after, we can't wait. It is fun to have so much family to love on our baby. I will try to keep pictures posted. I could write forever, as I feel so happy and blessed, but must take a nap. All for now!!

  • I'm already holding on to each moment for dear life with her, as I know it will go fast. Wait until you meet her Chick, you won't want to put her down, so sweet and precious. We can't wait for you to be here.

  • what beautiful children! Chick sent me to this blog to read the letter to heaven. Beautiful and as hard as it is to understand we must. So glad Emry is safely here and that big brother loves her. We are digging out of 3 feet of snow here in Hulett. Beautiful but could be a problem if the wind blows. Hugs and best wishes. Chris M. and family
