My 1 1/2 Year old!!

My sweet baby boy is now 18 months old... half way to two!!! AHHHHH What an exciting time to watch growth happen and so quickly. I never dreamed that such a little guy could do so much. Lukie has learned to say Mommy, very clearly and it is music to my ears, except when I'm putting him to bed and he cries for me... then it breaks my heart. He has always called me "ma" He was sick last week... for a WHOLE week. It was awful, feverish, cranky, tired, and cold symptoms and the croup, not fun, but he is back to normal now. I think you have all gathered that he loves balls... he has probably 20 around the house and I think he plays with them each day. He can spot anything round and loves when Coy is watching sports on TV, which for those of you who know my husband is quite frequently. If there were things I could wrap up in a box and open from Luke years down the road it would be his big hugs, his pats on the shoulder, his little sweet voice, the way that he makes a car sound and moves his hand like he's steering. His sweet smile when he wakes up. I want to hold on tight to each of these tiny precious things, that I look forward to everyday. I have been attending a couple of different Bible Study groups and I love when I go to pick Luke up and he drops whatever he is doing to run to my arms. Someone shared an awesome devotional about that picture, dropping everything to be with someone we love and how God desires we do that to spend time with him, drop everything, that's hard to do as a mom, but something I am working towards, even if it starts with just 10 minutes to thank Him for my children, husband, and extended fam. There are so many things I have cheris about Luke, and it leaves me thinking about our daughter and the unique things I will cherish about her. She will be joining us soon... 10 weeks is all I have left!!!! I can't wait to see the personality she has and the gifts she will bring to our lives. I am excited to look at her little face and pray over her life, and know that she is a gift to the three of us. I look forward to having a little girl in the house, and little girlie things, I'm already so used to my boy stuff, that it seems strange to think of dolls and tea parties.
I will close for now, Hopefully you all don't get tired of me rambling on about my kiddos, but they are a huge part of me right now and I'm so thankful for them and what they have added to me. I feel like a fulfilled person at this point being their mommy. It is fun to have things that I've always dreamed about coming true, with Coy and Luke and soon our little lady.
I hope you all are doing great out there!!!!
