2 months 2 kids
How frustrating I had a nice long post and Luke came and hit one button and deleted the whole thing... too aggrevating. Today has been my "cleaning" day. I've been watching the shows that I taped in my DVR, so I'm "cleaning" it out:) Coy had to work all day, from 8 til 8... but we are making the most of our day here. I took Lukie outside sledding. I was thinking how sad that in the 2 years that Luke has been here he's never been sledding and my niece in NC has been sledding before him, so out we went. I just pulled him around but it was fun.
Emry is of course growing like a weed. She is now 2 months old and an absolute precious little lady. She has the sweetest demeanor. She sleeps really well, has slept through the night 2 times and most of the time just wakes once, and sleeps in until 8 or 8:30, she fits in with Luke and I's sleep patterns well:) We like to sleep in around here:) Lukie is babbling and trying to say more and more words. He is sleeping in his big boy bed like a champ. We tell him goodnight after we read, pray and kiss him and he just says "BYE" and puckers up his lips for a kiss. It is wonderful.
So many people are wondering how I'm doing with my two little kids, and I am doing GREAT. I just love them both. It is fun to have a little happy baby and fun to have a little guy running around and doing his things. I am able to get out and do the things I've always done, which I'm glad for. Luke is still doing great as a big brother. The only thing that is really hard is that having 2 kids makes it difficult to travel to Iowa... I might get back home until April...yikes, that is probably a record for me.
We have been doing a temperment study at my Bible Study. In the description of my temperment it said that my temperment could live in the same town all their lives.. Coy was like.. that is so right on about you... I agree. I don't feel like such a weirdo phew! God made me this way... to have this longing to be near what I'm used to. It has also been awesome doing this study because we are learning about Luke's temperment... his is a busy person, (no surprise there). It has several other descriptions, but these have been and will be so helpful for us to know as we are parenting our children and it makes so much sense to learn what makes them tick, as it will help us guide them as they grow. The study is being lead by Ray Lincoln, the author of the book I'm a Keeper. I HIGHLY recommend it to all parents as it is exciting to me to have this "inside" look at how my children operate.
Well I should go, Luke is trying to put his boppy chair on the footstool and then sit in it, oh yes he has tried this before and fallen off and crashed..never a dull moment here:)
Love you all Hannah
